Return & Exchange Policy

Caratora is focused on keeping its customers at ease by offering them Yearly Maintenance for their jewellery. To keep your jewellery young and cheerful, Caratora provides complimentary cleaning and inspection yearly. Our Yearly Maintenance facility will no longer be valid if any third-party jeweller has done any work on the jewellery.

All Caratora jewellery is handcrafted by artisans using various simple and complicated techniques, which may not be exactly replicated to represent the image shown on the website. There might be slight differences in the size and dimensions of the final product depending on factors beyond our control.
The product can be returned or exchanged along with the solitaire certificate at the current prevailing value, with a deduction towards making charges & taxes. In case of a product shipped to us for exchange or buyback, Caratora will charge a nominal shipping fee of 2% of the product value or the actual shipping cost, whichever is lower.
Returning the certificate is mandatory, loss of the certificate would result in a deduction towards the cost of certification. Caratora shall not accept any jewellery that shows any type of alteration done by any third-party jeweller. Further, all benefits towards the product will be nullified.
Caratora reserves the right to correct the valuation of the product based on its quality inspection.

Exchange or upgrade your jewellery anytime in the future. Get credit at the prevailing price of metal @ 100% and diamond @ 90% of the goods exchanged except for making charges and taxes (maximum value INR 200000).
In the event the item is damaged, or missing stones or certificates, a proportional amount would be deducted from the exchange value. Making charges & taxes would also be deducted from the exchange value offered.

Sell your jewellery back to us. Get 100% value of metal weight at the prevailing metal rate. Caratora offers 80% value of diamonds at the prevailing market price.
In case any discount was given at the time of original purchase, it will be deducted from the exchange amount (Maximum value of INR 200000).

15 Days money back policy does not apply to custom-made products. Returns within 15 days of purchase (Maximum value INR 200000).
Refund is confirmed once Caratora's quality assurance team approves the product quality, its original invoice, and product certificate. Once confirmed, all refunds shall be done by way of an online bank transfer to the customer's bank account within 2 weeks of receipt of the product.
Caratora holds the right to refuse any unreasonable or excessive returns. Product returned should be in unused condition and even tags should not be tampered/damaged, else eligibility for returns will be void.
Products purchased on an EMI basis or using discount coupons are subject to 20% cancellation charges if cancelled after 24 hours, and the 15 days return policy is not applicable.
Caratora reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting on the website.
